Target question
I have a question about a bench rest target but I have no idea how to add a picture here, so I'll describe it.
It is a conventional 10-ring target with a black box that sits above what looks like the 8-ring. What is the purpose of the black box? |

Group Shooting.
The black box is an aiming point, if you care to use it. It works best with low power scopes 12 to 18 powder for me. Its to big for my 36 power. You can put the crosshairs in the center or on a corner. http://benchrest.com/showthread.php?69832-Aiming-Point The " mothball" is the center small ring. Dont shoot out your aiming point.

Thanks, 243. I also read the comments on the Benchrest link - looks like everyone does something differently.
