Hi everyone:
I just wanted to share the build that you all "helped" me build. It was my first build so I'm pretty pumped about it. Saved for quite a while to get the parts I wanted but I'm happy with this and I think it will last me a while. Thanks to the folks at Brownells and Bravo Company for the helpful advice and walkthroughs. A Special thanks to Justin at www.sexyweapon.com for the great customer service on the hydrocoating.

Thanks again to you all. Cheers!
Tonapah

That's a hell of a first build. Tough to beat BCM. Good work.

Thank you all.

Update: Justin at Sexyweapon is taking my Elzetta mount in to do up the desert digital on it to match. Should have a fast turnaround.

The light is a Surefire Fury dual output. Fab light with toggles between 15-500 lumens.

I'll be posting targets tomorrow night.
Can't wait.

I went out and shot 300 rounds today - 55gr cheap **** but it was all I could find at the local store. (on a side note, I hope this isn't a problem).

After about 50 rounds sighting it in at 50 yards with the EOTech, I ranged out to 100 yards and hit about 150 rounds until I got a decent feel for it.
I shot with a front bag only and used the 3x magnifier for all of the sighting and the below two pics.
I shot this 3 round group and then went to the target next to it and shot the rest of the mag into that target in about 25 seconds.

As you can tell, I'm quite pleased.

Looks pretty good for cheap ammo.

What's the dot size on the Eotech (2 MOA)? Makes shooting sub MOA pretty amazing (3 shot group). And the rest into about 2" or just a tad more, even more amazing.

Good shooting and I'd call that a successful build.

The EXPS 2-2 has a 65MOA circle with two 1MOA aiming dots. The top dot is zeroed at 50 and 200 and the bottom dot is 500. I can't ever see shooting it beyond 100 though but you never know. If this rifle keeps shooting like this, I may push it.
