Thanks! I guess it's just fun to get other's ideas about a variety of handguns. I can't think of any other subject that people are so opinionated about unless it's politics. I know I have my prejudices, but my opinions have changed about polymer striker-fired pistols in the last few years. (Much as I hate to admit it. )

I had the same "delimma" After Kahrs, Sigs, Bersas, Ruger, CZ......I settled in on an M&P40C (The 9C is same size/gun) Great, reliable pistol

I am carrying my M&P 9mm 2.0 Compact more than anything these days. The ergo's are superb. It's fired every time I've pulled the trigger. It accurate. My trigger breaks at a little over four pounds from the box. Guess I just got lucky.
Some folks complain about the articulated trigger. Never been a problem for me. The H&K is a nice gun. But as others have said I have a PPQ 9mm M1 that I think has a superior trigger to the H&K. And I like H&K's. But the PPQ is probably te best out of the box trigger for a polymer 9mm out there. I would look at the M&P. You can get them for some stupid good prices. If the trigger is not your thing you can drop in an APEX trigger and it is a gem. And ith the money you save over the other guns get some night sights Or go for the PPQ. JMHO. |
