Beretta 92 Stock

Hi
I would like to hear from Beretta experts on their views regarding Beretta 92 Stock. I know it has a thicker slide. Apart from that what is additional in this Beretta that makes it (if it does) more attractive than a 92FS?

Is it worth buying?

From what I can find, it has the thicker Brigadier-type slide and a front barrel bushing to help with accuracy for it's intended purpose of sport shooting. Personally, I think the Elites would be better for that role though.

Are thet available for purchase in the US? I'd live to add a beretta that I can carry cocked and locked.
