Now find me a version that snaps on to either existing glasses of safety glasses - can't wear those very nice sunglasses over my prescription lenses.

Somebody 2 or 3 months posted a pig hunting video from Penn. (I think) state somewhere. Try doing a search and contacting him. The vid looked pretty good as do the ones on Youtube.
Can you change out the lenses? My concern is that once the glasses become less than ideal to use because the lenses have gotten beat up, if you can't change them, then you have crappy glasses attached to your camera.

This is just one ball hat I found, type 'video camera hat' into google. Baseball hats with hidden cameras. |

Oh that is cool. Thanks for the insight. That makes them a much more attractive option.
I have tried a Vholder camera cam. I went through two and neither worked correctly. Don't know if it was the physical camera or the programming, but they crapped out. If you watch Wild Justice, many of the officers are wearing Vholder cams on their shirt shoulders, so maybe the bugs have been worked out. After the experience, I haven't been too interested in trying another cam, but the ikam might be the next I try. Thanks again for the clarification.

I received a pair of the Ikam Extreme glasses as a birthday gift at the beginning of this month. One of the best gifts I have ever received. The glasses come with a hard case, three lenses (clear, yellow and black-polarized), a charger and a usb cord. If you break or put excessive wear on the lenses you can always order more separately.
The only other real comparison is the Sportsman Eyewear which is 100+ bucks more. I seriously can't see spending the extra money. I would highly recommend them. Here are a couple of videos I made during some matches.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BRIqGmJoeo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dju9TmYZVzQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_SuivY_0nI Last edited by blueorb; December 22, 2010 at 09:29 AM. |
