Problem with my DPMS style Creedmoor
I assembled a DPMS style 6.5 mm Creedmoor. Using AeroPrecision M5 upper and lower, Criterion 22” hybrid barrel with head spaced JP high pressure bolt, Geissele SAAE trigger and A2 flash hider.
Accuracy at 100 yards is very poor, on bench with sand bag support. I removed the hand guard and saw where it was binding on the barrel nut creating a gauge in the inner surface ( AeroPrecision Atlas 15”). I removed the hand guard and tried some shots with Hornady Match on sand bag and bench using the magazine as a rest point so as to leave the barrel free. Accuracy for 5 shot groups 2-3 moa. Any advice is appreciated. Bill
