I have seen quite a bit online (i buy 762/9mm/545/556) and prices are coming down steadily
havent made the trip to wal-mart recently to see stocks or pricing as i have quite a bit at home seems like people are broke and stockpiled so prices are easing |

It's still near impossible to find 9mm ammo at Walmarts here in Northern KY. I called 9 local walmarts last week, and only one had any 9mm (300 rounds). Of course it was the one furthest from my house. I've called the ones closer to my work every morning this week (best time of day to find it in stock employees told me), and they haven't had any. I'm down to 50 rounds of FMJ and one box of Hornady Critical Defense.

Back to the same old thing in Tucson - nothing anywhere for more than a day or so. It comes in and gets rushed and it's gone like a shot...no pun.

Perhaps not over but definitely ammo is finding its way onto store shelves and available through on-line retailers. I managed to find 700 rounds of .22 Mini-Mag at $6.39 per 100 at an on-line site. Sure it's nearly double what it was but the 10 or 15 other on-line sites I checked had none. The local Bi-mart which previously had nothing now carried UMC 9mm bulk in 250 packs for about $49, they also had a fairly decent supply of .45, and .22 Mini-Mags for $5.99 per 100. A local gun shop had cases of .22 Mini-Mag ammo priced at $9.95 per 100. This is nearly 3 times the normal price. I will take my business elsewhere because of this out right gouging.

We've got plenty of rifle ammo and ball handgun ammo (WWB and the like) available. But premium JHP handgun ammo is still hard to find or ridiculously expensive.

Well about two weeks ago the walmart near me had 9mm. This was at 3-4 in the afternoon. So the crazed ammo buyers (at least near me) must not be picking it up right when it comes in. The Walmart near me gets ammo every night. They said it was just getting purchased as soon as it was on the shelves. However it is now sitting a bit longer.
