Mounting rail straight?

Hi,
I am about to mount a pierce picatinny rail on my pierce shot action. What can I do to make sure it will be completely straight after I tighten the screws?

If the screw holes are correctly placed, the rail should be too. At a grand per, it's highly unlikely the Pierce Action holes are not right.
