Tactical rail 1911

This one is for all you 1911 fans. Does a tactical rail make a difference on the gun? Does it help line up shots faster, add balance, decrese accuracy, and so on. I'm looking for a gun that can have an attachment like like or laser combo. I know glocks xds sigs and all the other brands have rails standard but I like the 1911 just can't afford nothing but an rock island. Throw me all your input. I like to read. Thanks guys

I'm pretty sure RIA make a railed model. Or check Taurus. But I'd spend a few extra dollars and get an STI. I'm fairly certain they make an affordable 1911 with a rail, if that's your thing.

I have the Taurus PT1911AR and I've been pleased with it. I don't carry it or consider it a "go to" gun, but it has been great as a plinker. As a matter of fact, it is the most accurate "out of the box" pistol I remember having, and it has been 100% reliable on range trips.

Lots of 1911 variants with Rails

Check out the Springfield TRP railed. I love mine (for HD). Yes a little added weight with the light/laser combo but it is what it is.
(not mine)

Well played sir. That is either the coolest, or worst, Vette I've ever seen. I can't make up my mind.
