Maxpedition Pack for CCW
I'm looking for a small EDC pack for CCW in the summer and when on the motorbike. I would like to carry my Kahr P40, J frame, the XD or maybe the 1911 in it.
How is maxpedition for this role? Is there one you prefer? I like the gearslingers as they look less purselike. How are they for having a CCW with you when you might not be able to carry a holster? Forget about the scream gun argument. Nothing screams gun except carrying in a belt slide! |

I have the Malaga bag and really like it a lot. It has an outside pocket that can easily accommodate any of the guns you mentioned or they can be stored inside if you want a little more concealment. The bag is about the size of a small back pack and has plenty of room for most day bag duties.

I have a couple different modles but this is the one I carry my Kahr in. You can carry it accross the body or around the waist & leg.

Have carried the Jumbo for several years, everything from a Glock 21 to a cz-82 in it.Like it because you can throw a bottle of water on the side, cell phone, pipe and tobacco and a extra t-shirt inside.

i like maxpeditions stuff....its pricy but bulletproof. I have an older malaga set up as a hunting pack, and i have a gunslinger that i like to carry on hiking trips or when im vacationing.

So I got the Lunada and it makes for a nice EDC bag. Kind of weird carrying off body, but so much better than carrying in the car or left at home. . .
