Lee Hand Press

I've been using a Lee hand press and Lee carbide dies to prep some 40 caliber casings. (Fired more than once, multiple head stamps) I'm getting some bowing on casings that I can't figure out. The bowing is uniform, but the casings are from all different brands. Sometimes Federal bows, sometimes Federal sizes perfectly.

Anyone have a clue?

Try a different press and see what happens.

It might a alignment problem with the press ram to the die.

Is it bowing or bulges at the case head ? Might be from a glock unsupported chamber

I would say bowing means bulging down where the case is unsupported. Sorry Charlie, those are discards.

This press is far and away better than a Lee. If one is looking to purchase a serious professional Hand Press. This is the one.~~~(Enough said.)
