I have the hots for this bullpup
It's the Kel-Tec RFB SUB-16... sadly it was only a prototype.
A 16'' barrel in that short package. |

If money is no object you might want to check out the Springfield Armory Hellion. IIRC it goes for about $1800 but it is totally ambidextrous.

That Kel Tec is interesting!!! Owner of a PS90 for 10+ years....
1) getting a rifle chambered in .223 / 5.56 is the way to go. .308 and 5.7x28 cost per round will lighten your wallet in short order 2) be sure and feel the trigger in person before you buy. Some bullpups have remarkably decent feeling triggers (IWI Tavor) and some are remarkably bad (PS90) Also, check out the Desert Tech MDRX. Have not felt the trigger or seen in person... Despite the negatives, no one can shoot the PS90 without a big grin on their face... ![]()

I had the hots for that Kel-Tec RFB too - the all metal one. Not the ugly plastic one.

IMHO, the best 308 Bullpup is the K&M M17s. All metal construction. No plastic. Robust bolt carrier; robust triangular bolt with great lock-up, great adjustable trigger; adjustable gas. You can swap out the grip for a better one, if you need a better one. Takes AR-10 extractor, springs and other parts. I liked it so much I bought one:

And compactness is frequently over-rated in relation to actual use. If I need something really compact in that caliber, that's also not-junk, I'll grab my most-awesome and suppressed 9" 5.56 SBR.
