Reading on conversion of DA to SA
I can change recoil springs, sights and grips on just about any pistol I have seen/owned. What I can't/won't do is mess with triggers and sears and such. There has to be someone who wrote a tome about converting say a Tanfoglio from DA to SA. Or perhaps a pistol with the same kind of mechanism, like a CZ? Knowing how would be a big step in getting it done.

What gun exactly are we talking about? Your not talking about accessories, your talking about how the gun operates. It would really depend on the design.

Most or at least many auto pistols can be converted to DA-only.
In some it needs only removing the DA strut from the hammer. In the CZ type pistols conversion would need permanently altering the hammer. If you have a specific gun you want converted, see a competent gunsmith. |

Ok, it will probably be a Tanfoglio 45. I was maybe in error thinking a broad area was written about.

There are shops that will convert DA/SA to SAO.
I am years from shooting a Tanfoglio so all I can suggest is to ask around on Benos. |
