Some fitting required with wilson combat beretta 92 parts

Hi folks,

Have had my Beretta 92FS for a few years now and decided to give her a face lift (or breast augmentation if that's your thing).

Part 1 included the fluted steel guide rod, oversize mag release, D spring, and left side only low profile safety.

Just as a heads up for those considering, some fitting was needed with the safety lever as my factory left side detent would not depress into the safety lever far enough to allow for assembly. Really scuffed the heck out of my slide trying though.

After talking to the techs at Wilson, who recommended using a round file to remove some of the Armor tuff finish, I filed for awhile with no change.

What ended up working perfectly was a tiny scrap of 320 grit wet/dry sandpaper wrapped and taped around a bamboo skewer. Removed just enough finish/material to allow the plunger to depress fully into the safety lever.

Thought I would post this to help out any non gun smith's looking to install these "drop in" parts solo.
