And I was being told how I could improve my looks. Usally I just hang around with guys like you. Next to you all I'm Mel Gibson

Actually there's I good chance I might not make it guys, I lost my heart last night to a little red headed girl and I don't see how I can go on.......

Congrats Meiji-man.
I was looking forward to meeting you on
the 16th. Bring her along.
Really, you were just following the popular
CTR slogan in the area - "Choose the Redhead"
I did too, many years ago.

Oh there no happy ending here. I never got the nerve to talk to her.

Can someone please explain, how I can conquer every fear in the book, yet a little girl can make me run for momma?

A REDHEAD!
Ouch - I caught that bug 10 years ago and she now does my accounting and ironing.

Bring her!

Guys - The weather is looking grim.
I know we still have some time for the forcasts to improve - but we are seeing a trend.
I'm putting together a couple of bad weather alternatives just in case - so that when the 16th rolls in we are still green for GO at the alternate rally point. The exact location of the primary rally point will be posted later this week.

It's been said that it takes a woman twenty years to raise a man from infancy and twenty minutes for another woman to reduce that man back to infancy.

Meiji_Man, speak with her as if you would with any of your respectful friends. Be natural (yourself).

All thing's considered, I've never had good luck "being myself".
Usally I wind up going home crying, and trying to get the pepper spray out of my eyes. That stuff BURNS.
Anyhow I concur on the weather thing. So what ranges and alternatives are we looking at?

Alternate indoors would probably be Rangemasters in Springville. Though it is pricy, and can get rather crowded on Sat.

Meiji, I can't give any advice, I've only had one relationship in my life that didn't suck, I married her.

CTR? I thought that stood for Correia Tactical Rifles. My gun company that only exists in my imagination.

Instead of Rangemasters - lets go to the AF gun range. Its between Orem and American Fork... you can see it off the freeway.
Its tricky to get to - let me explain the way to go:

Coming south from SLC:
Take the 1600 North/Lindon exit and turn right... You'll be right by a truckstop and Genieva Steel. Turn Right agian and you'll go under the freeway again... Turn left at the light. Take the next right and you'll be zig zaging around a little undustrial area. The gun shop/range is at the very end of a street and you can't see it until your ontop of it.
Hard to get to - but closer than Rangemasters - not as crowded... and the owner is a good guy who could really use the business.

So is this the primary meet point, or the secondary in case of rain? Are we still going to be able to have dutch oven cooking and BBQ? Is there a rifle range? Range fees?

And mostly thanks for doing the work to put this together, I'm excited.

Lets see - Range fees are being negotiated...
No rifles... no place for Dutch or BBQ.
(you want to do that in the rain?)

For a Meeting Point... Or as we said in the Rangers - Objective Rally Point... There is a large gas station with a Wendy's in it just off the freeway in Lehi, near the Roller Mills where they filmed FootLoose (to the non Utah readers - anytime you pass lehi you have to say "thats where they filmed Footloose" even if you have never seen it.)

Good site to rally at.
So it's a indoor only set up, or are we still going up a canyon?

George, perhaps you should start a new thread with all of the pertinant info at the beginning. Then we can contact everybody and refer them to it. I've still got all of the Utah TFLers e-mail addresses.
