new M1A Scout

(This has probably been ask before but I can't find the string)

Just opened the box for my new M1A Scout. One of the pieces of paper was the "M1A Loaded Coupon", and from what I recall in the gun shop the prices are very reasonable direct from Springfield. I don't want to be redundant and buy a cleaning rod or chamber brush if they are included in the cleaning kit. Will someone please send me a link to the info or tell me what is in the kit - and even better, which items I don't really need or DO need.

TX

I recall buying a cleaning kit that Springfield offered. Just make sure that you've got a rod, brass brush, bore brush and the wrench necessary to remove the gas plug.

Often the wrench may come with the cleaning kit, I ended up with two wrenches as one comes with the cleaning kit (as the operating grip into which the rod pieces screw) and I bought a separate one.
