I picked up a nice Star BM, spare mag, and nice grips for under $300. I'm impressed, thus far.

Just saw a Sig Sauer P226 on GunBroker for less than $320.00 from a reputable seller. That is the listing price. It will likely sell for less than $350. Lot of law enforcement trade-ins out there.
I don't think we are allowed to link to open auctions. |

any of the surplus firearms on the market that were made over 50 years ago
they dont make them like that anymore, all pre MIM old school quality * fully machined *forged steel *wood furniture no polymer / no plastic triggers / no plastic mainspring housing / no plastic safety lever I like the quality of a vintage Smith & Wesson revolver from the 1960's - 1970's |

Entry level AR15 rifles. I'm afraid in a few months we may look back on this summer and wonder where those deals have gone.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but RE: the Star BM's...I've always hesitated to buy one because I'm not sure I trust the "shooter" vs. "plus" vs. "select" grading system.
Have you found the rankings to be relatively accurate? |

Another vote for the Star BM.
Great little gun. One neck of a value!

How about LEO trade in G22 for slightly over $300.00. Some of these guns are in new condition.

Very underpriced.
Most AR-15s. Even Colts can be had for under $1,000. "El Cheapos" for $500-$600.

I agree that there are a lot of entry level ARs that are VERY affordable right now.
I also feel that Walther PPQ and PPS is a tremendous value. I would not say under-priced, but people would buy them even if were $100 - $150 more. I think Walther can easily compare to H&K in quality (polymer to polymer). I think Glock is a pretty good value as well. I guess they are priced like the equivalent of the Honda Accords they mimic in the gun world. Not too expensive, not too cheap, good quality and reliable, but no frills.
