The retail price for Remingtons appears to be 7.99/100 now. That's what Cabelas sells them for in the retail store, if they had any, which they didn't last time I was there. Jedediah Starr online had them last time I looked, but the price per 1000 was the same as Cabelas.
There's a little gun store here in Columbus where I had them order some for me. They got them with no problem, but the price was the same 7.99/100. With sales tax, that was around 85 dollars for 1000. Chaz Last edited by chaz12; June 8, 2013 at 06:36 AM. |

If you're out of perc caps....
Just whip out yer SAA or clone and shoot .357 cowboy action til the prices recover. I got 5K primers this week for 2 cents ea. (2.8 shipped with hazmat).

I've got about 600 or so percussion caps but less than 200 musket caps.

What'd you expect, there's a war on fellers!
Well, not exactly, but there certainly are a lot of reinactments this year, and add to that the craziness- that's where all the caps have gone. Give it time, and they'll be available.

Talk to my old buddy Joe @ http://www.thegunworks.com
He has so much in stock the panic didn't even affected him. Boomer
