joined the glock club...

I've always been a steel frame kinda guy...in fact, I used to hate on the glock a bit...started to come around the last couple years or so....well, now that they made a lefty friendly version, I got two today..g17 and 19 gen 4 in fde...ran 2 mags of fmj off the porch without trouble, accuracy was decent but hoped for a little better grouping...I'm a 1911/ revolver kinda guy and a pretty good shot..hoping the glock just takes getting used to.

Happy for you and your new additions. I never had any beef with Glocks and really wanted one but I feel in love with the M&P line once I held them. I may get me a Glock this year just to have one though. Enjoy your new guns my friend.

The Glock will take a bit of getting used to if your coming from the 1911 platform. After you get used to it. they get addictive.

Really happy for you! You'll get used to it soon enough. I was also spoiled by 1911 triggers and my SIG's in SA.

The World According To Glock

Welcome aboard the world according to Glock. Mine was the first pistol that I ever bought. I'm now looking at purchasing another one very soon. Enjoy...

It required a few hundreds of rounds for me to "warm up" the the Glocks.

I now have four of them. Models 17,20,21,22. All have been rebarelled by Bar-Sto.

I still carry a SIG-Sauer as my primary personal defense weapon, nevertheless I must admit that I have fallen in love with the Glocks. They're wonderful pistols, especially with the match grade Bar-Sto barrels.

I'm looking to tinker with my 17 turned race gun. Why the barrel sawp?

I had to drop out of the club for awhile, but someday I'll join again! I'll just "upgrade" my membership! Start with a 26, add a 19, add a 30s, then add a 29sf for different flavor.

I too disliked them at first, but I've come around and really dig them for what they are. I've begun carrying my 19 and I've run it in a few classes. It's making my cz jealous

If I ever got another glock it would probably be a 20. I'll justify it by saying I need a woods gun.

Right now though all money goes to ammo and eventually a set if 10 8 sights
