kraigwy or wyosmith do you know anyone you would recommend to make a necklace from my elk ivory?

Wow,---- I can't recommend anyone right now. I had a friend in Ft Washakie that did it, but they moved to Alaska. he's out of the business now.

So...How about you Kraigwy?

My hunting buddy had his last ivories made up into earrings by a shop in Gunnison,CO. North of Tomici Ave and west side of Main St IIRC

I don't know anyone to makes jewelry, but I do know elk teeth make beautiful ear rings. My wife sure loves here.

I spent good deal of time living with the AK Natives on the Bering Sea. They do some magnificent carvings using the ivory from Walrus tusk, I think if I was going to have something made I would try to find one of my contacts on St. Lawrence Island.
