Daisy Model 2202 Rifle .22LR Cal.

I am looking for a Rotary Magazine, some call it a clip for a Daisy Model 2202 Rifle. I would like to give this rifle to my grandson but it is missing the magazine. I think either my son or I accidently threw it away years ago while he was in High School when we were cleaning up his room. This magazine is very hard to find. I have been trying the internet (parts sites, gunsmiths, pawnshops...you name it) and local throughout North Carolina, all to no advail. Also, tried numerous places near Daisy in Rodgers, Arkansas (gunsmiths, pawn shops). Contacted Daisy and they gave me the information on the gunsmith that they sold all their parts to. He no longer has any. Any assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know a thing about it. I only look at this thread because I did not know Daisy made a .22. Well when I was looking at some pictures of this gun I found this link. http://en.allexperts.com/q/Guns-Fire...22lr-model.htm

I think it may help.

I had the Daisy Legacy, which i used to train kids, until it was stolen. I also used it, immediately after the "It's a Crime, Bill" passed to train some FBI agents on what constituted an "assault weapon." More than 5 rounds in the magazine, telescoping stock, magazine forward of the grip, empty .22 ammo box taped to the muzzle as a flash hider.

Daisy Model 2202 Rotary Magazines

Since my posting in 2008 I have found a couple of NIB 2202 Mgazines at the following sites:

http://www.auctionarms.com/

http://www.gunsamerica.com/

http://www.gunbroker.com/

I would go out on each of these sites and do a search for the Daisy 2202 Rotary Magazine until I eventually found them...it can take a while and they can go as high as $80.00 or more for one. I found that if I did a search for Daisy I got better hits for the magazine (trouble is you will need to scroll thru all the Daisy items...but I had better luck by doing this).

Best of luck...the thing is...to keep trying an do not give up as you will eventually get one!

If you still have a clip I would not mind getting one. Does any one have the rear sight for the daisy 2202?
Thanks Steven

I noticed that many people have been looking for parts for this rifle. gunbroker.com is probably the only site that will have parts for this rifle year-round. I have gotten rotary mags, clips, rear sights, and even many springs from this site. Though the prices may seem high, these parts are very hard to find and the value of them rise every time a part is bought. Parts for the Legacy series are not made anymore and manufacturers refuse to make them in bulk because they fear it will not turn a profit fast enough. Try this site and maybe you can find everything you need for your Daisy.
