Open carry in Texas
This is a two part question.
1. Is Texas trying to pass a open carry? 2. I know there was suppose to do a vote to make laws a little more slack on if you're gun makes a imprint does any one know if that happened. |

State laws
For carry laws pertaining to Texas, you might want to visit Texas CHL Forum. Its a bit more detailed and has additional resources.
No dis to this site, but you might be more likely to find what you are looking for by narrowing your search to a specific state. salty Last edited by saltydog452; June 6, 2012 at 02:45 PM. |

"Texas'...processes...make it very hard to pass anything even remotely controversial"
In general, a very good thing, I think . (Despite that, the last Legislative session managed to pass 1700+ of it's 4700+ proposed bills into new law of the land) . Chris is right; short answer to question #1 is, 'not very hard'. I think most Texans are pleased enough with the status quo. It's hard to motivate satisfied consumers to change . W.
