scope on Saiga 223 question

I have a really nice converted Saiga 223 but dont see as well as I did
when I was younger so I am going go buy a scope for it.
I would like to get recommendations from you all as to the right one.
I had a red dot on it but no magnification so that didnt help.
Have looked at a few scopes but just need some good advice from
those of you who know what I dont know about the right one.
thanks for your help in advance
