Big Safe

Any one own a safe you don't like?
I'm looking for a real safe, 1000 lb. Have to hire a professional safe mover.
Just don't want to buy one someone had a bad experience with.

Home depot seems to have the best prices.

dealer

My dealer delivered. As it was their business, they have lot's of practice. I NEVER thought they would get the thing in the house w/o calamity, but they slicked it in their no problem.

Don't rush into a safe buy. Learn a bit about security ratings and fire protection. And.......buy a bigger safe than you think you need. I promise you will have no problem putting more in it, but you cannot make a smaller one bigger........and getting one out of the house to replace it with a bigger one is more of the same problem.

Now I understand there are options, like an electrical outlet.
What other options are there?

Door storage patterns, shelving pattern, how to store pistols, lighting, how to manage humidity, fire ratings and what they really mean, dial, bio or elec lock, waterproofness, etc.
