1/2 scale Coehorn
Hi, I went overboard on this one. Civil War Coehorn Mortar 1/2 scale cast iron. Cast Iron sled measures 15 inches long by 5.25 inches wide and the barrel measures 9.5 inches. Outside measurement on the barrel is about 4.25" and the bore is 2.25". Bore is about 8.25" long and the trunnions are about 1.25" in diameter.
I've always wanted a Coehorn, any idea about general value? Who made them? Are they still in business? this one is well weathered but, could easily be refinished. I've included a shot of Civil War version. Thanks, Sreve |

Nifty looking! Ask in Graybeard Outdoors, just enter it into google. It's all about cannons. They will ask if the bore is lined, dangerous if not.
