1860 Army Stock mounting screw
I have a couple of Pietta 1860 Armies that I love. The Stock Mounting Screws
rub my trigger finger and are most annoying. Does anyone make a plug or flush screw to replace the Stock Screw ? What is that screw size ? I think if I new the size I could find or make something . |

My older Uberti uses a 6-.75 (the same as Piette nipples) this is made from an old nipple.

Take the screw you have to an Ace, Lowes or Home Depot, they have thread gauges.

You could slot the bottom of the screw then cut the head off and use that as a plug.
