S&W Parts

Hi to all, My first post of substance here. A good friend steered me to an interesting site for parts, everygunpart.com is it's name. I had been browsing it for some Smith 66 no dash parts and found what I was looking for. Just a heads up for the good folks here.

Wow! That's enough to make a grown man cry. All of the guns are complete parts kits, only the receiver has been cut in two. Winchester 101 20 gauge, receiver chopped in half. Remington 700, receiver chopped in half. Not so bad for the 700, you can buy those, but Winchester 62s, 94, 37 . . .OUCH! Wow. Just wow.

A friend has one of those machines. Gets the firearms from police departments. He strips the frames before destruction and sells the parts. Says he's seen some really nice/rare stuff go in.

Thanks, I've bookmarked the Smith Model 39 page although it's over twice the price I paid for the full gun when bought new. Still you can't find parts for it most anywhere else.

Thanks again.
