Mossberg 42M (a) 22lr
Hi all. I received a mossberg 42M (a) and looked all over the internet for information regarding this rifle and came up with nothing. It has a full manlicher stock with completely adjustable rear sight. It appears to be drilled and tapped for a side mounting scope and peep sight. Anyone know anything about these rifles?

I'm not finding much either. Coast To Coast (farm supply?) sold some marked Models 42 which were Marlins. Sears sold a Model 42 which was a rebranded Model 80. Could it be one of those with a manlicher stock (hence the M?)

Ok I have to ask is there a chance you're calling it the wrong thing. Took about a half second for the internet to find a Mossberg 42m.

 . I must’ve saw marlin somewhere when I was researching it. It is indeed Mossberg
