bolt action slug guns?

I've been looking for a good slug gun for a good price, nothing cheap. I really like the savage 212 bolt action, it seems to eject nicely and it just looks awesome. Anyone have any other recommendations? (p.s. don't recommend an H&R single shot heavy barrel, there is one in my posession i want to throw into the center of a pond. Misfires like a motherf*#^!$)

slug gun

I am happy with the slug gun that I own, a Mossberg 695. It's far from a pretty gun but it is a fine shooter.
I have been using it of late to develop some of the loads suggested in the ubiquitous "12 ga. rifle from hell" threads. I use Lightfield discarding sabot slugs, RMC brass hulls, 70 grains of SR 4759.
It's a handy gun, easy to carry.

The Tar-Hunt is arguably the best.
