Velocity gains while suppressed?

Has anybody done some chrono testing for shooting rifle suppressed vs unsuppressed? I'm assuming you're gaining velocity since the gases are behind the bullet for a little bit longer going through the suppressor. I saw this article talking about it and the results were an about 18 fps gained using a suppressor. Except for the 223, which I'm curious to why that round would be different. Can anybody post their results if there any out there?

The gain from “free-bore boost” is not enough to be of practical consequence

10-20fps wont change anything

"...about 18 fps gained..." Won't make a lick of difference either.
"...suppressed vs unsuppressed..." Is about changing how the air displaced by the gasses comes back. And suppressed does not mean silent.

That depends.....

In the 1980's one of my buddies was a class III dealer and collector. He had a Mac 10 45 ACP with a can. With new wipes is was Hollywood quiet. The only sound was the bolt slapping and the brass hitting the floor. And that was firing in a warehouse.
