I have two S&W Model 41s, a 7" and a 5.5" with extendable front sight. These are the last two .22s that I would sell or trade.
That said, I filmed the below YouTube video of me shooting a Glock 19 frame with an Advantage Arms .22 conversion kit. As the video shows, S&W Model 41 25 yard accuracy is possible using this under 18 ounce combination. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZMdXu8EUZs |

They also have a 6" version at 1lb 15oz Don't know if the extra barrel length would be any adavnatage over weight at 50 feet? |

Yes, should I get the 6" barrel instead of the 4.5"?

The Volquartsen is light. They are very accurate but tough to shoot--so light they magnify mistakes. However one may fit what you are looking for.

Isn't that a standard with a Voquartsen top end?

Guess it's the way the dealer orders them, got the 6" with the target grips.
Have to wait a few months before I can get another NYC purchase order to actually PU the Pistol. |
