Parker Hales go for about $250-300 in this area, but I have seen them just about given away in Idaho. In good condition, that would be a fair price, with a good scope a bit more.

I have a Parker Hale 1200 in .270 I could only be surgically seperated from it. I bought it back in 1978 with a Redfield scope for $150.00 brand new. Seems the gun dealer bought some on speculation, but the good ol boys only wanted Remington & Winchesters.

I have seen them in gun shops in Eastern WA for around $200. In my opinion they are worth more - if for nothing else than the action. It is a good commercial Mauser mfg'd by Santa Barbara (according to De Haas). I had one in '06 thirty some years ago that would shoot moa with reasonable handloads. All in all they are good as is or for converting (LOTS of short chambered barrels available).
