Beretta 92X slide not locking open when mag empty?
Hey all,
first post on TFL. I have a new 92X (G) that has been working flawlessly through the first ~400 rds. Worked right last night then today, shooting 6 full mags, it failed to lock open after the last round each time. I have the 3 factory mags, and then another 17 rd Beretta mag that was labeled as a 92/M9 compatible mag. Coincidence? or could that have something to do with it? The follower appeared to be fully raised when I dropped the mag each time. Ideas? |

more info based on other similar posts...
With an empty mag in the well, it stops/locks when pulled back no problem. I'm 95% sure my fingers aren't interfering with the slide - I use the exact same grip for 100's of round with no problem. I have a hard time believing that the mag springs are not pushing up forcefully enough, but I'm willing to look into it |
