Whats a good "lathe" type case trimmer, that won't break the bank

Hi all, what are you guys using for case trimmer out there.

I have been looking at the Lyman Accu trimmer, and like the fact that you can use standard shell holders for it. So that seems like a good price and deal, so I don't have to buy a ton of other things to get rolling.

I was also looking at the Forster Original case trimmer kit, though its a little more money, it seems like a good quality trimmer. With this unit will I need to buy a bunch of extras to use it.

Any other thoughts or opinions?

Thanks

Spleify

I like the Wilson with the Sinclair stand.

This one has a micrometer on it, but it is cheaper w/o.

I think that they will all work ok. I could be wrong but; I don't think that the Lyman can be use with the .17 or .204 Cal. I have been using the Forster for 20 years+, with the neck attachment, with great success.

For the trimming I do I mostly got by with the inexpensive Lee hand trimmers. When the 204 came along I got a Wilson that I like very much, check it out. It may depend some on the type & amount in your trimming future?

Thanks for the replys everyone. I was looking at the Wilson too, and it seemed pretty good, what do you mean "Wilson is in another league"?

With the Lyman I have posed will I need to buy a bunch of other parts for it?

I have the Lee handheld now and that is just getting onl, I would like something better now.

Thanks again everyone.

Let me suggest the RCBS trimmer as it has optional "3 way cutters" that trim to length as well as inside and outside champher in one operation. These cutters are caliber specific and not cheap but it you do volume loading they will pay for themselves in time and labor. The RCBS trimmer can be upgraded to a power unit, again not cheap but worth the investment for quantity work. I have used one for many years and I have had great results with the machine. It saves a great deal of time and tedidious work.

I saw an attachment that will go on to a "universal" trimmer.
You can hook up a drill and have an auto trimmer.
But I need to do more research.
I saw it a Cabala's.
