Need a source for S&W pre-1959 K-38 parts

I need the older right-handed threaded ejector rod. S&W "reworked" a newer left-handed threaded one and did a miserable job, as any of you who are familiar with machining would have predicted. Yes they actuall swaged out the threaded section,turned it down and recut opposite hand threads and the workmanship was worse than mine in my freshman engineering labs. I don't want to get into returning it, calling them, so please, my question is where can I get authentic S&W parts for older revolvers. Finally, Gun Parts Corp also can not help so you needn't bother suggesting them.
