ACOG x4 FITTED WITH RMR SIGHT. (ZEROING)
Hi everyone we have a weapon system HK G36 fitted with the ACOG x 4 and the basic RMR sight on top.
Am seeking thoughts on distances to zero each sight if different. Maximum range use 100m to 5m. Many thanks (DF2) |

4x ACOG, zero at 100M (as usual) for use with BDC reticle. This is assuming your barrel length and bullet weight are configured the same as the BDC reticle (i.e. M4 14.5" barrel, 62gr projectile).
I zeroed my MRD (like your RMR) for 25M. A little hold over at close distances, a little hold under at further distances.

Don't know much about the G36 from experience, but at work we BZO our rifles at 36m with ACOGs. A 36m meter BZO will provide adequate unknown distance shooting capabilities out to 300m. For combat shooting only. If you're doing sport/competitive shooting, well... thats not really my area of expertise but I'd suggest a re-zero at every distance you shoot.
