.40 Shield problem

Does anyone else have a problem with the cover that's over the firing pin sliding down and preventing the gun from cycling? Can no longer carry this one if I can't rely on it in an emergency.

If the gun is assembled correctly that piece cant slide down. Something may be broke so you need to have it checked. S&W will send you a new cover if its worn.
