Range Day with the old Swede

I'm starting two threads on a fairly brief range session, but very different topics. Good news is I had success in finding a target load for my Carl Gustafs Mauser. A 142 SMK over 44.7 gr Reloder-22 put 4 out of 5 into 1 1/4". Not sure why one flier, maybe me. I didn't bother with the chrono, but Sierra says this should be running about 2,650. They tested in the same rifle, and this load is 0.5 gr below their max.

I plan to try the CMP Vintage Military Rifle competition this year. So today I loaded from stripper clips. The CMP course of fire includes a rapid fire round with a required reload, and those stripper clips load nearly as fast as a detachable mag.
