New forum, would it be possible

When we are finally upgraded to the new version software, would it be possible to have a forum that could be General non-gun related?

Another suggestion. How about a separate category for polls.

Good question. It's been discussed at length and, as of the last discussion, we decided a non-firearms forum, while great fun, is outside the mission of TFL. Therefore, for friends and family chat, most folks go to Gunslinger's board.

Sorry, I don't have the url on hand at the moment. Somebody give us a hand here, please.

I don't know that a separate forum for polls would be justified. First of all, there aren't that many (although they DO seem to come in groups!). Secondly, in a separate forum, they probably would not be found and folks would be posting about them in the General Forum anyway.

Just my surmisin'.

Polls are integral to the software and cannot be segregated into a separate Forum. They can only be turned on or off.

No, I mean when people post links to other web pages that are doing polls. I've often wished I could go to one place to see all the topics like that.
