Hi folks,
Picked up a FAL clone and have to adjust the rear sight for windage. Took both the screws out and attempted to move the sight base over. It seems to be stuck and gentle taps with a plastic mallet did no good. Advise? TIA! Giz

Soaked the assembly in WD40 with no better results. Any idea? Is there a third screw that I'm overlooking? Smacking the sight with my mallet seems a bit rough - just do it harder?

Loosen the screw on the side you want the sight to move toward......tighten the screw on the side you want the sight to move away from. That should move the sight. You should also feel "clicks" when moving the sight.
Hope this helps.........Sam |
