240 Apex Ammo or Brass

I am in search of brass and/or ammo for the .240 H&H belted Magnum (Apex). Like the .240 Wby it is based on a belted case with the 06 head diameter. This is the brass that I need for my customers rifle.

H&H also built a .240 (sometimes referred to as the 244 H&H Magnum) H&H Belted Magnum base off the 300 H&H belted case size. This is not what I Need.

If any of you know of a source please send me a PM.

2nd Choice is .240 Wby Mag cases that can be formed into .240 Apex

I have found no 240 Wby cases from the normal suppliers that I use. If you know of a supply of these I certainly am interested in these as well.

Roger

The good news is that Buffalo Arms has some.
The bad news is that it is about $5 a pop.
Is it still bad news that it is Bertram? They used to be considered kind of erratic.

240 Apex

Thanks for the information.

Buffalo Arms did have the Apex brass and seemed to have as much as I wanted (?) to buy. I ordered a couple boxes and will let you know if I find any problems with the brass.

If this brass is questionable then I will re-form some of the .240 WBy stuff. My customer wanted the head stamps to be correct as he goes back and forth to Africa and this is becoming more and more of a problem of head stamps matching rifle calibers.

Again many thanks.

That makes sense. I understand they audit your ammo coming in and your case count going out. I don't know what happens if you lose a case in the high grass.
