Loading 45-70 with N135
Hello
I have buyed a Marlin model 1895 3 days ago.I will loading the 45-70 Ammo for my Marlin, i have some H&N .45 tc bullets with 350 grain here is the link from the bullets http://www.hn-sport.de/typo3temp/pics/4f082b90e7.jpg i have only the Powder Vihtavuori N135.Can i use the Powder to load this caliber 45-70 for my Marlin ? http://www.lapua.com/view_reload_tab...iteid=products I always try to start with the powder manufacturer's data. Bullet maker's data is good too, especially for overall length. Vihta Vuori doesn't show N135 for this cartridge. They also make specific reference to their load data NOT being for older Marlin 1895s. There is a 45-70 specific section on the Marlin owners forum. Probably worth a visit. |
