Help with Rifle ID

Anyone know what this is?

Thanks!

Evidently a SAW, sorry the lack of ammo box perplexed me for a minute. Thread can close/delete

m249 with short barrel and collapsible buttstock. One of the early models because the new ones have single piece gas ports and the forearm rail setup.

That's the Para model of the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon, as given to my brother in the 101st Airborne.

Other than that, the only smaller version of that particular weapon is the Mk 46.
