Triple 7 filler
Howdy all...been a while since i been here..good to see ole names still around. I got a question fer ya. I bought some triple7 for my .44 Army. Now, I have never used T7, and from what I read, yer not supposed to use filler with this. I plan on startin out with 27 grains, and dont think that will quite fill the chamber, and was gonna use cornmeal to top off with. Does anyone use this stuff enough to know about usin filler?..I appreciate all the info I can get on this!

27 grs. won't come anywhere close to filling the cylinder. I don't use the stuff but it's the most finicky powder you can get. You don't want any airspace but it doesn't need to be compressed like bp or the other subs. Compress it and it will be erratic. It's also 15% hotter than bp so you need to reduce your loads by that much.
