New Interior for Gun Safe!
I have an old Cannon 30x24" safe. As old as it is, it had NO! interior at all, just metal.
Any help with ideas, pics or plans. I'm very handy. |

Most gun safes have the same interior. There will be a full width shelf that runs across the top, and a "shelf" with the cut outs about 30" off of the floor. The shelf with the cut outs will have a center support, also with shelf brackets, that runs down the center. You can then add or remove shelves going up the left or right hand side.
You will fit the most inside of the safe without any interior. Simply place gun socks on them and stack them in like firewood.

I personally would rather not have anything on the walls. Fabric tends to hold moisture and therefore, increase your dehumidifying problems.

I made mine with plywood and left it unlined.
