Info on a member trading safety

Just wondering if anyone has done any deals with bdturner. I was also wondering if there is any way to guarantee a transaction. I don't want to send my gun away and never get it anything in return. Is that what FFl's are for? Any info or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.
