Shot Timer Questions
Good afternoon everyone. I'm in the market for my first shot timer and had a couple questions.
1) What's everyonr using and what do you recommend. 2) Will the shot timer register a dry fired shot? Thanks. |

No, the acoustic timers need sound.
Most won't even respond to air guns, let alone dry fire. Only one will register just your shots when others are shooting, too. The Shotmaxx, from Double Alpha, available from CED. It responds to recoil as well as sound. It also has an airsoft sensitivity setting. And it's small, only wrist watch size. For use with dry fire exercises, use the Par time (count down) feature. All the popular timers have it.

CED makes a whole line of timers. The Pocket Pro and Pocket pro II, are pretty much the standard for timers.
