Poll feature request
Is it possible to ask a qualifying question to someone, prior to them seeing the poll, to exclude folks who don't meet criteria for the poll?
For instance: Poll question: Do you like Ruger branded gold bead sights on your redhawk/SRH? 1. Yes 2. No This poll might get some idjits with Smiths, Dan Wessons, or Colts that have some other brand of sights on their guns, responding to a specific poll. If a pre-poll question were there qualifying a pollee, then people who respond to it would be unable to vote if they don't match the qualifications. Qualifying question: Do you own a Ruger DA revolver with ruger gold bead sights? 1. Yes 2. No Anyone answering yes would get to vote in the poll, and folks answering no would not. Possible? |

Sorry, it's not possible for us to implement a change like that to the vbulletin software. You might want to ask the same question on the VB forum.
Even if we were to add that feature, what is to stop anyone from answering "yes" in order to get to the poll and respond improperly? In other words, those who would answer improperly before the change are the same ones who would answer improperly after the change. It's human nature - not desirable human nature perhaps, but it's evident all the time. |
