FiringLine (New URL)
Just wanted to let you know that "firingline.us" is available. If you want to drop "The." Name registrations are cheap at www.godaddy.com ($7.99 annual). I'm not with godaddy and won't gain, so this is not SPAM. Just thinking of a way to make your site even better.

I'm puzzled. How that would make our site any better?

Url
Generally, the shorter the URL the better.
It's pretty simple, "generalmotors" is General Motors but its URL is www.gm.com. As long as a URL can be easily recalled and simple to find, more people may access it or refer it to others. I work with the Web and domain names on a regular basis. It's also best practice to buy domains that have exact or similar names to one's own organization or business; .com, .net, .org, .us, .info and .biz (at the very least), if they are available. They should all link to the main domain name. Doing this is also defensive. Others with the same prefix as yours, but a different suffix won't be able to capitalize on your success and hard work. |
