The Firingline back on line

Thanks for getting back up and running. I needed my fix and I was starting to detox . Were you guys down for maintenance or was there a problem ?

And I thought it was me. I upgraded to Windows 10. Everything was fine before the upgrade; but afterwards. Kept getting a "certificate" error. Anyway, glad everything is back.

Yeah, I checked some other sites to be sure it was really TFL and not some sort of malware on my computer. Glad we are back up.

I've asked our systems guru, tyme, what the exact problem was. We'll let you know when he logs in again.

If you ever need to know if any site is really down or if it's your own problem, I've found this site to give a good answer to that question:

Regardless of the reason glad you guys are back. Also, a round of thanks to the owners, MODs and support staff that make TFL an awesome site.

I too started to prepare my tinfoil hat when I saw we were down.

I'm sure the thought police feel we are a danger to the collective....

I was happy when I saw TFL was down because I though we were finally getting the switch to Xenforo. Oh well.

At first I thought it was my phone fighting it out with Tapatalk but after a while I figured there must be problems on this end. I just logged back in and try to catch up.
